New species of thrush discovered in Arunachal


Yesterday while reading the newspaper I saw an article about the new bird species that has been discovered in the Himalayas of Arunachal Pradesh. It has been named the Himalayan Forest Thrush, Zoothera salimali, the scientific name honours Salim Ali, popularly known as the 'Bird-man' of India for his ornithological works.
